FAQ's
First Session / Consultation
- Not only are goal areas a focus of the session, but it is also important to factor in your medical history, injuries, or physical conditions. Please review the Massage FAQ's for protocols.
What to Wear:
- Shorts, sweats or clothing you can comfortably stretch in. Anything that allows you to move freely during your stretch session.
Hydration
- You’ll also want to drink plenty of water a few hours prior to your session. This helps to keep your muscles and soft tissue hydrated for maximum benefits (and flexibility).
Breath Work
- As we exhale, our body lets go. Exhaling can stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system, helping us feel calm and relaxed. This is the moment when tissue and muscle release and surrender to the stretch. The inhalation sets up for that sustained exhalation. Longer and deeper breaths can help remove toxins from the blood and facilitate deep oxygenation.
