Where Memories Begin

When I was young, barns stood like beacons along the roads to our little country home. Their silhouettes against the fields told me we were close—close to rest, to belonging, to weekends that felt endless. Even now, barns hold that same promise: strength, resilience, and the memory of being welcomed home.
Nature Heals

Photography, for me, is another form of self-care.

When I stand behind a lens, I feel myself exhale. The busyness of the day fades, and I’m reminded to slow down, breathe, and notice the quiet miracles around me—the glow of a sunset, the stillness of water, the resilience of a red barn in winter.
Much like massage, photography is a practice of presence. It helps me reconnect with calm, with nature, and with my own sense of balance. My hope is that these images carry a bit of that same stillness and warmth to those who see them.

I was able to host my art in the very barn I spent my childhood in. Saying this was a special event is an understatement!
